Brooks, Alberta – The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Wayne Labrie will assume the position of General Manager. This change more accurately reflects the integral role Wayne successfully undertook throughout last season. His responsibilities extended well beyond the traditional boundaries of his previous position, and his leadership and contribution were instrumental in the team’s success, culminating in our BCHL Championship.
The new designation recognises the important role Wayne has already been fulfilling within the organisation and reflects our continued commitment to maintaining the high standards and elite status we have established in the hockey world. His experience, leadership, knowledge of the game, and proven ability to oversee the many facets of a successful hockey operation make General Manager an appropriate designation for the responsibilities he has been performing.
