Brooks, Alberta – The Brooks Bandits would like to congratulate local product Shane Smith and his family on his signing with the Henderson Silver Knights of the AHL.
The Cessford, Alberta product played 263 WHL games across six seasons with the Medicine Hat Tigers, Lethbridge Hurricanes, and Kelowna Rockets. He participated in the Memorial Cup last season with the Rockets. He posted 93 goals and 183 points over that span.
The Silver Knights are the AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights.
