Brooks Bandits Add Goaltender Lincoln Molind From Rockland Nationals

Brooks, Alberta – The Brooks Bandits have bolstered their goaltending depth, adding 2006-born netminder Lincoln Molind from the Rockland Nationals of the Central Canada Hockey League. The move comes after releasing Sharky Nowek on Monday.

“We’re happy to add a veteran goaltender who can not only support Zach Zahara, but also provide some valuable starts over the next couple of months,” said Bandits Director of Hockey Operations, Wayne Labrie.

The Middleborough, MA native has appeared in 12 games this season for the Rockland Nationals, posting an impressive 11-1-0 record with a .897 save percentage. He was named the CCHL Goaltender of the Month in September.

Prior to his time in the CCHL, he competed in Finland’s III-Division A league, where he recorded a .946 save percentage over six playoff games last season.

The Bandits welcome Lincoln and his family to Brooks.

Tickets are on sale for the Bandits double-header home weekend, which will see them host the Sherwood Park Crusaders on Friday, November 14th and Vernon Vipers on Saturday, November 15th. Visit brooksbandits.net for more information.
