Bandits Trade Mark Konstantinov to Powell River

The Brooks Bandits have traded 2008-born defensemen Mark Konstantinov to the Powell River Kings in exchange for future considerations.

Konstantinov, from Yaroslavl, RUS, just completed his rookie season with the Bandits. The 6’0, 161lbs blueliner combined for 5 points (2g-3a) in 26 games to go along with 21 PIMS while also dressing for two of the Bandits post-season games.

“We felt that with the way our blue line has taken shape over the summer, it was important to provide Mark with an opportunity for increased playing time. We appreciate everything he brought to our organization and wish him all the best with Powell River moving forward,” said Bandits Director of Hockey Operations, Wayne Labrie.

Konstantinov is committed to Merrimack College (NCAA DIV I).

The Brooks Bandits would like to thank Mark on his contributions to the team and the community and wish him the best moving forward.
