Patella joined the Bandits during the 2022-23 season in a three-way trade involving the Cowichan Valley Capitals and Merritt, where he captained the Centennials.
Since then, the Laval, QC product has played 77 regular season games with the Bandits, recording 31 points ( 13G, 18A) while also playing 16 playoff games tallying five points (1G, 4A). He won the AJHL and Centennial Cup Championship in 2023, and the BCHL Alberta Final and Rocky Mountain Challenge Championship in 2024.
He was named one of the winners of the BCHL Kyle Turris Community Award in 2024, which is given to BCHL players who go above and beyond in their community.
