May 27, 2025 – The City of Brooks held a parade to celebrate the Brooks Bandits winning the 2025 Fred Page Cup on Tuesday, May 27th.
The Bandits beat the Chilliwack in Chiefs in the Final in six games to claim their first BCHL Championship, the first Alberta team to win the trophy.
The parade down 2nd Street W finished at Veteran’s Park at City Hall, and including speeches from Mayor John Petrie, County of Newell Reeve Arno Doerksen, Bandits Business Manager Nathan Crosby, as well as speeches from players including Ethan Beyer, Parker Lalonde, Davide Patella, Nick Peluso, Nathan Free, Krists Retenais and Chris Quizi.
Thanks to the City of Brooks, Davis Chevrolet GMC Buick, Harwood Ford, Honda Magic and Martin Chrysler for providing vehicles.
