Sawyer, Free, McInnis and Moline listed on NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings

April 16, 2024 – Three current Brooks Bandits and a future Bandit are listed on NHL Central Scouting’s final rankings of North American skaters.

The Final Rankings include forwards Logan Sawyer (114th) and Nathan Free (186th) and defenceman Keith McInnis (213th), and future Bandit Austin Moline (181st).

Sawyer (Orangeville, ON) is in his first season with the Bandits, tallying 78 points (35G, 43A) in 59 games. He’s committed to Providence College.

Free (Calgary, AB) is in his second season with the Bandits, registering 65 points (32G, 33A) in 60 games. The winger is committed to Penn State University.

McInnis (Red Deer, AB) joined the Bandits following the Christmas break, and scored 16 points (6G, 10A) in 26 games. The blueliner is committed to the University of North Dakota.

Moline (Las Vegas, NV) is a 6’4, 191lb, right-shot defenceman who just finished his third season at Shattuck St. Mary’s in Faribault, MN. He tallied 35 points (8G, 27A) in 57 games in his second year on the Prep team. He’s committed to Northern Michigan University, and recently won the US 18U Nationals with Shattuck.

The 2024 NHL Draft will be held at Sphere in Las Vegas, with the first round June 28 and Rounds 2-7 on June 29.

The Rogers BCHL Playoffs are coming to Brooks this weekend, as the Bandits host the Okotoks Oilers for the Alberta Semifinal. Tickets are on sale for Game 1 (Friday, April 19th) and Game 2 (Saturday, April 20th), both are at 7:00 pm at the Centennial Regional Arena.
