Bandits tie the series 2-2 and return to the CRA on Friday night

Chilliwack, BC (May 21, 2025)- The Bandits bounced back in game four of the BCHL final as Michal Liscinsky opened the scoring and the Bandits continued to rule the possession and flow of the game to lift Brooks over the Chiefs by a score of 4-1 to tie the series at two each.

Zach Zahara was the highlight of the night himself as he made an incredible diving glove save and multiple big saves throughout the game to get the win between the pipes stopping 27 of 28 shots he faced.

In the opening frame, the Bandits outshot the Chiefs 15 to 5 but the lone goal scorer was Michal Liscinsky with the net front tip late in the period from a McInnis point shot to put the Bandits ahead 1-0.

In the second period, Zach Zahara pulled out one of the biggest highlight reel saves of the season as he reached back across his net with the glove and kept out a shot on the goal line. Just moments later Luke Bibby scored on the powerplay with a redirected shot that was taken by Ethan Beyer to double the Bandits lead in the period.

In the 3rd period, AJ Lacroix capitalized with a tremendous pass from Nathan free as he shot a left side wrist shot that beat Miller on the high glove side to extend the Bandits lead to 3-0. The Chiefs would respond as they broke out on a 2 on 1 and Mateo Mrsic beat Zahara with the backhand tuck to get the Chiefs on the board. Nick Peluso would ice the game with just under two minutes remaining with an empty net goal

The Bandits return to the Centennial Regional Arena on Friday night at 7 PM as they take on the Chiefs in game 5. You can get your tickets now at tickets.brooksbandits.net.
