June 29, 2024 – Brooks Bandits forward Logan Sawyer has been selected 78th overall by the Montreal Canadiens at the 2024 NHL Draft in Las Vegas, NV.
Sawyer just completed his first season with the Bandits, tallying 78 points in 59 games during the 2023-24 Regular Season.
During the Playoffs, the Orangeville, ON product scored seven goals and eight assists for 15 points in 12 games, helping the Bandits capture the 2024 Alberta Cup and 2024 Rocky Mountain Challenge. He was named the Alberta Cup Most Valuable Player in the postseason.
He’s committed to Providence, who compete in Hockey East of NCAA Division I Hockey.
