Forward Luke Bibby commits to Minnesota-Duluth

April 15, 2025 – The Brooks Bandits of the BCHL are proud to announce that forward Luke Bibby has committed to the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

The 2004-born forward from Brantford, ON has played two seasons in the BCHL with the Vernon Vipers and the Brooks Bandits.

Bibby, since being reacquired by the Bandits at the February 10th deadline, has 18 points (11 goals, 7 assists) in 15 regular season games and currently seven points in five playoff games (4 goals, 3 assists).

Bibby was also named the team’s Unsung Hero at the Bandits Team Awards ceremony. Bibby played for the Bandits during the 2022-23 season, capturing an AJHL and Centennial Cup Championship.

The Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs men’s ice hockey team are members of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) of NCAA Division I Hockey.

He’s the 19th Bandit on the 2024-25 roster to commit to a NCAA division 1 school joining,

The Interior Conference Semifinal begins this weekend in Brooks, the Bandits host the Sherwood Park Crusaders for Game 1 on Friday, April 18th and Game 2 on Saturday, April 19th.
