Forward AJ Lacroix commits to University of Massachusetts

January 31, 2025 – The Brooks Bandits of the BCHL are proud to announce that forward A.J. Lacroix has committed to the University of Massachusetts.

Lacroix has tallied 16 points in (7G, 9A) in 25 games so far this season, notching his 100th career BCHL point on January 25th.

The West Vancouver, BC product signed with Brooks in October after spending last season with Tri-City in the USHL. Previously, he played two seasons in the BCHL with Chilliwack.

Lacroix also played four games with team USA in the Hlinka Gretzky cup tallying three points in 2022-23.

Located in Amherst, MA, the UMass Minutemen play in the Hockey East Conference of NCAA Division I Hockey. Past Bandits to play at UMass include the Makar brothers, Cale and Taylor, Oliver Chau, Shane Bear, Patrick Lee, Maddison Smiley and Austin Plevy.

Lacroix is the 18th Bandit on the 2024-25 roster committed to an NCAA Division I school, joining:
