Brooks, Alberta – The Brooks Bandits are extremely excited to welcome former Bandits standout Pierce Charleson back to the organization as a member of our scouting staff.
Pierce brings a tremendous hockey background to the role, having played two seasons in Brooks before going on to compete for five seasons of NCAA Division I hockey, followed by a season of professional hockey in the ECHL.
He is now transitioning into coaching and player development at the prestigious St. Andrew’s College in Aurora, Ontario, further expanding his knowledge and perspective of the game.
“We’re extremely excited to have Pierce back with the Bandits. He understands our program, our culture and what it means to be a Bandit. His experience as a player, combined with five years of Division I hockey, professional hockey and now coaching, gives him a tremendous foundation as a scout, said Bandits General Manager, Wayne Labrie. “We believe Pierce is an excellent fit for where our program is headed and for what we’re looking to add to our scouting and player-development staff moving forward.”
Throughout Charleson’s two seasons with the Bandits, he amassed a 78-12-2 record and won a National Championship in 2019.
“I’m excited to rejoin the organization that has given me so much throughout my career, and ready to continue building the winning tradition in Brooks,” said Charleson.
