Brooks, Alberta – The Brooks Bandits would like to congratulate Assistant Coach and Director of Player Development Cole McCaig on accepting the Head Coach/GM position with the Flin Flon Bombers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL).
McCaig was an integral part of the Bandits organization last season, playing a key role in the development of our players while helping the team maintain its championship standard. His commitment, leadership, and unparalleled work ethic both on and off the ice have made a lasting impact on the organization.
“We want to thank Cole for all of his contributions to our team and organization,” said Wayne Labrie, Director of Hockey Operations. “He will be dearly missed, but I’m confident Cole is ready for this opportunity and will have nothing but success moving forward. Cole has earned this chance through his dedication, work ethic, and commitment to the game, and we couldn’t be happier for him.”
