Brooks, Alberta – The Brooks Bandits have traded the BCHL rights to goaltender Mikus Vecvanags to the Victoria Grizzlies for future considerations.
Vecvanags played five games for the Bandits during the 2024-25 season and posted a 4-1-0 record with a .881 save percentage. He was most recently in the QMJHL with the Newfoundland Regiment.
The Latvian goaltender was a fifth round pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 2024.
