Bandits Good Named Finalist For Bob Fenton Trophy

Spruce Grove, Alberta – Brooks Bandits Forward Jack Good was named a finalist for the Bob Fenton trophy by the BCHL. The Bob Fenton trophy is awarded annually to the player that best represents sportsmanship.

Good led the team in points this year with 70 including 22 goals. He took just seven minor penalties in 54 games. Among Bandits skaters who played at least 36 games this season, he had the second fewest. Francois De Villiers was the only player with fewer.

The Pickering, Ontario native led the BCHL in assists with 48 and was tied for the league lead in game winning goals with Jack Rimmer of the Nanaimo Clippers (8). Teammate Jack Rosensteel was third with seven.

The winner for the award will be announced following the conclusion of the second round of the playoffs.

The Bandits are in action Wednesday night when they visit the Spruce Grove Saints for Game 4 in the first round of the Rogers BCHL playoffs; Brooks leads 3-0.
