Brooks, AB (May 5, 2025)- The Bandits returned back to the CRA on Monday night as they hosted the Penticton Vees in game three of the Interior Conference Final. The Bandits were unable to get on the scoresheet as they dropped game three by a score of 6-0 and still lead the series 2-1.
In the opening period, the Bandits fell behind only 23 seconds into the game as Matthew Biotti scored his third of the playoffs to give the Vees the early lead. The shots were level at 7 a piece at the end of that period.
In the 2nd period, Max Heisenberg added to the Vees lead as he scored his 4th of the postseason off a tip out front. Ryden Evers scored later in the period on the powerplay to bring the lead to 3-0 for the Vees. Just over a minute later, Tristan Petersen banged in one more as the Vees took a 4-0 lead into the intermission.
In the third period, the Vees scored two goals late both on the powerplay as the Bandits filled the penalty box late. Michael Fisher and Luke Posthumus were the goal scorers in the final minutes.
The Bandits dropped this contest 6-0 and return to the CRA tomorrow April 5th at 7 PM for game 4 the Interior Conference Finals. The Bandits lead the series 2-1. You can get your tickets now by visiting tickets.brooksbandits.net.
