Brooks, Alberta – Bandits defenceman and captain Dante Siciliano has officially signed his Letter of Intent with the University of Maine Black Bears of the NCAA. Maine is a member of the Hockey East Conference in NCAA Division I Hockey.
“I’m really looking forward to attending the University of Maine next season to pursue my hockey dream and academics,” said Siciliano. “I would like to thank the entire Bandits organization for developing me into the player and person I have become over the past couple of years in Brooks.”
Head Coach Dakota Mason shared the same sentiment.
“Dante has been a tremendous leader for our organization over the last two years. He was a massive part of our championship last season and has done an excellent job transitioning into our captain this season,” said Mason. “We are extremely excited for the Siciliano family, and with Dante’s character, we know he will be successful in all aspects of his life.”
The Bandits return to action Saturday night as they host the Spruce Grove Saints at 7:00 MT at the Centennial Regional Arena.
